CHECOD and CSEA establish a Three-year strategic partnership to advance Health and Trade Economics in Africa.

The Centre for Health Economics and Development (CHECOD) together with the Centre for the Study of the Economics of Africa (CSEA) entered into a three-year partnership to strengthen collaboration mainly focusing on Trade and Health Economics.

As part of this partnership, the path ahead will involve close collaboration between our teams on several strategic initiatives, the creation of opportunities, and the generation of evidence to inform policy and strengthen health, trade, and economic systems in Nigeria and across Africa.

Although we are still in the early stages, it is already inspiring to see the exchange of ideas, the shared commitment to rigorous research, and the momentum being built across both institutions as we look ahead and knowing the impact this collaboration will have on evidence-informed policymaking in Africa.

We look forward to transforming this shared vision into meaningful action through collaborative research, policy engagement, and evidence that contributes to stronger systems and better outcomes for communities across Africa.
