CHECOD Africa supported a 2 day workshop on Alignment of the Unified Chart of Accounts (CoA) with the Health Sector Strategic Blueprint (HSSB) interventions for Improved Health Planning and Budgeting in Nigeria, held at Sandralia Hotel, Abuja, from 14th to 15th May 2026.
The workshop was designed to strengthen health planning and budgeting process by mapping strategic interventions in the HSSB to the corresponding National Chart of Accounts (NCoA). It also aimed to demonstrate and test the mapped framework in the AOP tool to improve overall budgeting and planning.
By the end, the session strengthened efforts to make health budgeting in Nigeria more standardised, transparent, and efficient.
