On 5 March 2026, at the Rockview Hotel in Abuja, Nigeria, a remarkable hybrid gathering of health leaders, partners, and stakeholders, across rooms and borders, convened to honour a legacy that continues to shape health systems: the 10th Year Memorial Symposium for Dr. Kenneth Ojo, Founding Chairman of CHECOD, themed, “Sustaining the SWAp Momentum in Nigeria: Deepening Institutionalisation, Integration and Accountability.”

We extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who joined, in person, virtually, or through representatives. Your engagement helped make the symposium a powerful platform for reflection, dialogue, learning, and collaboration, and greatly contributed to its impact and success.

The symposium brought together diverse voices committed to strengthening health systems across Nigeria, Zambia, and beyond. Through insightful contributions and discussions, we collectively honoured Dr. Ojo’s legacy while advancing conversations on institutionalising, integrating, and strengthening health system initiatives that reinforce collaboration, accountability, and lasting impact.
