From July 29 – 30, 2026, a team of stakeholders in the Borno State health sector convened in Maiduguri for a two day meeting focused on reviewing the 2026 Q2 AOP performance against agreed targets and indicators, presenting the 2027 AOP development roadmap, and leveraging FASTR Data Packs and service delivery bottleneck analysis to inform health sector planning and priorities.
The @CHECOD provided technical support through the following activities during the engagement:
• Supported the 2027 AOP priority setting process and contributed to the development of the SITAN.
• Delivered refresher training on the Quarterly Review Tool, emphasizing both financial and non financial performance monitoring.
• Facilitated the review of Borno State Health Sector 2026 AOP Quarter 1 and Quarter 2 performance.
• Presented the FASTR Data Packs and guided stakeholders in analyzing service delivery bottlenecks affecting health outcomes.
• Provided an orientation on newly introduced features in the AOP Web based Tool.
• Supported stakeholders in understanding the key development steps and roadmap for the 2027 AOP.
The meeting served as an important platform for stakeholders to reflect on performance data and service delivery evidence, translating these insights into actionable priorities. This process strengthened the foundation for developing Borno State’s 2027 AOP and informed more responsive health sector interventions moving forward.
